What is the difference between "pre-registration" and "registration"?

Pre-registration is the period between the opening of registration and the cutoff date when you have the ability to request a preferred team or coach you want your child to play for. Open registration for new or returning players without team or coach preferences continues until officially closed by the League (see below).

Why Pre-register?

Submitting your registration form before the pre-registration cutoff date will give your child the best chance of staying with their current team or getting the team or coach you request if you are changing teams. Registration forms received after the cutoff date lose that priority selection factor and your child may not get the team or coach you selected and may be placed on a different team. All team or coach preference priority requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

I missed the pre-registration cutoff date and want my child to play for a particular team or coach - what do I do?

Get your registration form submitted ASAP! Placements cannot be guaranteed, however.

When does Registration officially close?

Registration forms will be accepted as long as there are open roster positions needing to be filled. Rosters for Mustang and Pinto teams are typically full by late February. Registrations for Shetland (T-Ball) are accepted into early April, again based on available roster positions, due to Shetland starting at a later date in April. Registration forms will be taken off-line and a notice posted on the Registration page when registration is officially closed.

I want to register my child but can't get or download a registration form. What do I do?

Registration forms will be taken off-line when registration officially closes. If you still want to register your child, please contact the Player Agent to see if a roster spot may have become available for your child after registration was closed.
